Two years ago, my father-in-law (who we shall call Roger for simplicity) called asking for my help with a technical matter he was embarrassed to admit occurred. Roger called to let me know that he’d been hacked and needed help to figure out what to do.
Roger is a strong, intelligent, hardworking man. An all-around good person. Roger, is retired, in his late 70’s, and while aware how toxic and vile the online world has become. He still fell victim to a criminal's scam. I was so angry that scammers targeted my family. These dregs nearly got away with rerouting Roger’s social security checks. I was frustrated because there was nothing that I could immediately do to protect Roger.
The day that Roger called me, was the day that sparked the idea of CyberShield.
After spending almost 20 years in the IT and cybersecurity industry I began looking for a way to be able to protect my family, the way I protected thousands of employees during my years in corporate cybersecurity.
Two years later, the RMTS team has found a way to provide that level of security and protection to the most vulnerable members of our society. The elderly, the private citizen, and small business owners that simply cannot afford the high cost of enterprise cybersecurity services. And I am proud to be able to assist in the fight against online criminals.
My purpose in this life is to serve and protect. I have committed my life to protecting those that cannot protect themselves. To my family, to my friends, and to my now, and future clients. Know this…
